I love to teach. I can’t help it. You know that feeling when you have found that perfect gift for someone. You hand them the box and they begin to unwrap it. Your stomach flutters in anticipation and you can’t get that stupid grin off your face. The gift is revealed and their eyes, their voice, their body all light up. That is how I feel when I teach.

I have taught for 30 years, not only my own 5 children and 8 grandchildren but countless other children and families. I taught Kindergarten- 2nd grade in the public schools. I developed and implemented hands on learning for children and families at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and taught infants and toddlers in a Montessori school.
The curriculum at Blossom n Thrive draws on all these experiences and features child centered, play based and experiential learning. Our classes support engaged parenting and are all backed by research and experience. There is something for everyone at Blossom n Thrive.
