Camp Tinkergarten

Camp Tinkergarten transforms our weekly Tinkergarten class into an immersive 5-day summer camp adventure. This is family camp at its best! Daily activities provide everyone with fresh air, connection with nature and good old-fashioned outdoor play! This summer, we focus on the four classic elements- Earth, Water, Air and Ice. ( I know it is supposed to be fire but Virginia in July is too hot for that!). Along the way we will use all of the skills we learned this year- communication, problem solving, empathy and our senses. To make it extra joyful, we will share all the fun with a special animal friend!

What Will We Experience?

• Immersive, hands-on adventures exploring earth, water, air, and ice
• Messy, joy-filled play with mud, sand, and nature’s tiniest treasures
• Chasing the breeze with bubbles, scarves, and spinning pinwheels
• Splashing, pouring, and discovering the magic of water in motion
• Cooling off with ice play—melting, cracking, and uncovering hidden surprises
• Growing confidence and connection through communication, problem-solving, and joyful outdoor play
