Do you have a child who loves to create and is not afraid of a challenge? It’s not too late to join our Inventor’s Club- great STEAM learning for ages 9-12 years.
The Inventor’s Club is for boys and girls ages 9-12. We meet once a month for 1.5 hours. Attend one meeting or all, whatever fits your schedule! Each meeting includes a warmup game, a challenge (problem to solve), materials to use and time to create an invention! Lots of hands-on STEAM learning and cooperation skills. Along the way members learn about the process of inventing (identify a problem, brainstorm, design, build, test and evaluate, redesign, share solution).
Additional benefits include building self-esteem, perseverance, the ability to approach a situation from many different perspectives and group cooperation. Each meeting emphasizes teamwork, creative problem solving, and how invention improves people’s lives.
We meet on the second Monday of each month*. Register for the remaining 7 months (December – June) for $247.50 or one class at a time for $28/meeting. All materials and fees are included.
The 2023- 2024 meeting dates are September 11, October 9, November 13, December 11, January 8, February 12, March 11, April 15*, May 13, and June 10 from 5:00pm-6:30pm
*Due to Spring Break, the April meeting will be a week later.
