Our Sensory and Sign Playtime class is a 9-week, 45-minute parent-and-baby series designed to nurture your child’s sensory development, motor skills, and early communication—all in a fun, play-based environment. Guided by developmental research and sensory integration principles, this class provides parents with hands-on ways to support their baby’s growth while building a stronger parent-child bond.
Babies explore the world through their senses, and their brains are primed to learn from every touch, sound, movement, and visual experience. This class will help your baby:
And for parents, each week includes tips, coaching, and simple take-home activities to continue learning at home.
Parent-led sensory stations: Engage your baby in touch, movement, sight, sound, and proprioception activities
Weekly developmental focus: Each week targets a different sensory system and skill
Group connection: Enjoy songs, bubbles, parachute play, and other shared experiences
Baby sign language integration: Introduce simple signs to boost communication
Supportive guidance: Learn to read cues, foster confidence, and promote calm regulation

We meet on Tuesdays
10:00- 10:45 Ages 0 – 12m. (Pre- walkers Only)
11:00-11:45 Ages 10m to 1.5y (Walkers Only)

Classes are held at Quarterpath Recreation Center, 202 Quarterpath Road, Williamsburg.
