Storyline Online is an award winning children’s book site. Here they have famous actors and actresses reading aloud high quality children’s books.

Open Library is a part of the non-profit Internet Archive. Open Library is continually updating its collection of links to free books online—including lots for children! They currently offer access to over 20,000 free titles for children, including newer titles and classics. Titles include books like Where the Wild Things Are and Little House on the Prairie.
